ForSea appoints Ticknovate to manage online bookings and self-service ticket kiosks

Swedish Ferry company uses advanced platform to transform operations into a digital business

ForSea Ferries has appointed advanced ticketing platform Ticknovate, to manage its online booking and ticketing process, including sales made through its self-service kiosks.  Ticknovate will help digitalise ForSea’s sales operations to improve the customer experience using its personalised and intuitive platform.

Ticknovate is a software-as-a-service ticketing solution built for tours, ferries, transportation, attractions, and entry events. The Ticknovate platform will enable ForSea to generate a QR code for each purchase, enabling customers to redeem their tickets and receive a boarding lane by simply scanning the information.  The service will ensure a seamless enhanced experience throughout as ForSea continue their digital transformation

Susanne Kaarnimo-Knight, Chief Commercial Officer said:

“ForSea is transforming into a digital business to meet customer expectations and build a futureproof foundation. We want to be able to offer everything online and make the customer experience innovative, personalised and intuitive. We selected Ticknovate because of its flexible and modular solution. We wanted a partner to work with long-term that shared our vision and matched our ambition for continuous development and improvement. As a forward thinking company we promise our customers a smooth, enjoyable, advanced service throughout and Ticknovate will help us achieve that.”

Yiannis Maglaras, CEO of Ticknovate, said:

“ForSea carries millions of passengers, car and trucks between Sweden and Denmark each year. With such high volumes it needed an intuitive solution that would completely digitalise its entire booking process.
